Whitehouse Nursery Unit is a purpose built setting situated on the grounds of Whitehouse Primary School in Newtownabbey. It is a happy, exciting place where staff aim to provide a caring, nurturing learning environment to give all the children in our setting the best possible start to their education.

The Nursery Unit currently caters for 52 children in their pre-school year, funded by the Department of Education.

We really value the partnership between home and school and build upon each child’s previous learning experiences. We aim to provide a stimulating learning environment that builds upon the interests of the children and is fun!

We believe that learning is most effective when it is a hands-on experience. So at times we can get a little messy!
