This month Year 1 have been learning about seasonal change through our Autumn topic. We have watched the leaves changing colour, spotted squirrels gathering acorns and conkers and wrapped up warm as the days have become shorter and colder. We enjoyed looking after the woodland animals in our Woodland Animal Hospital and making hedgehogs out of dough and collage materials. Many of our Literacy and Numeracy activities have had an Autumn theme and we loved meeting the Owl Babies in our shared reading sessions.
