We have started the new maths topic, weight.
We discussed grams and kilograms and changed them from one to the other.
We did quizzes on estimating the weight of items.
Today we had three chances to build a cuboid that weighed close to 500g. The children had to work as a team to get the correct weight of bricks and then construct the 3D shape.
All the teams got very close but the winners were the "Dolphins" who managed to make their construction weigh exactly half a kilogram. Very well done.
