Today, we travelled to Malone House with five children from year 5. We had been invited to repeat our All Stars presentation which we had given at Stormont, earlier in the year.
The sun was shining and we managed to get a quick walk around the Malone Estate before we were needed at the conference.
This was a Realising Ambition workshop which has partnered with Barnardo's to fund the All Stars programme.
Evie, Tia, Naomi, Lewis and Lily were asked to talk about what we have been learning through All Stars. They discussed various activities and looked at the Character Words of responsible, respectful, honest, helpful, caring and forgiving.
Miss Carson and Mrs Robinson accompanied the children and were incredibly proud of how well they spoke. They showed tremendous confidence and were able to speak in public, with skill and enthusiasm. They were also very well mannered to all the people involved in the conference and the staff at Malone House. They were a credit to the school and their parents.
