Ancient Egypt Workshop with the Ulster Museum
18th May 2021
Both Year 5 classes had the opportunity to have a workshop with the Ulster Museum. We weren't able to go to the Museum ourselves so the museum came to us. The day before the workshop, a treasure box was delivered to each class filled with Ancient Egyptian artefacts that we would explore during the workshop. The ladies from the workshop gave us the chance to guess what each of the objects were and told us more about how they were made and what they were used for. One room focused on mummification in Ancient Egypt and the other room concentrated on looking good in Ancient Egypt. We also got to write our names in hieroglyphics. We hope you enjoy looking at the photos.
