Cursive writing
P5 have been working so hard, at learning to write in joined writing. We spent lots of time practising our joins and gradually we began to write words and paragraphs in this new, special way.
We all have been trying so hard and today, some children got their "Cursive Licence." This means that they can now do all school work, including homework, in cursive writing. We talked about how difficult this might be at the start and how our fingers may get sore for a while, but with practice, this will get easier.
Here are some photos of children who have now got their licence but don't worry, others will get theirs soon.
Congratulations to all these pupils in room 9 and 10.
