Both P5 classes took part in an all day workshop today with Rita and Michael.
Firstly we did nine challenges including, weaving, making clay pots, building a wall with willow, dressing up and grinding wheat to make flour.
We heard a lot of interesting information about life in Ireland since the Ice-Age and then everyone made an axe.
Finally, Michael built a fire and we saw our bread being cooked. (We weren't allowed to sample it!)
What an interesting and fun filled day!
