Eco kids get planting with the Rotary Club!
24th Oct 2017
Since the Rotary Club launched the 'Grow Your Own Crocus project' in November 2013 nearly 500 Schools and Youth Groups in the UK have taken part. Over 12,000 children aged between 4-11 have planted their own pots of crocuses and Whitehouse primary are very lucky to have been part of this incentive. Many thanks to the Rotary club for bringing in bulbs and giving the Eco club new tools and gardening gloves to use. This is part of the 'End Polio Now Campaign' and the eco Club and Rotarians plan to share the reason behind planting these bulbs with the school in the near future!
