Year 1 have had an action packed week celebrating the 'Festival of Words'. On Monday we put our listening skills to the test and on Tuesday we were in the spotlight during 'Show and Tell'. Mrs McCollum came to read to us on Wednesday and we enjoyed listening to 'The Tiger who came to tea' and 'Can't you sleep little bear?'. We celebrated 'World Book Day' on Thursday by coming to school dressed as our favourite book characters and on Friday we performed 'Little Red Riding Hood' for our Year 4 Buddy classes.
