Today KS 2 held our annual verse speaking competition and it was yet again a huge success. All pupils in Key Stage 2 were invited to take part and each class submitted a number of finalists. We welcomed back Mr McAlister to be our guest judge and what a tough job he had. Year group winners were as follows:
Year 5 Tristen Bailie - Bubbles (Anon) and Madison McKinnell - I asked the little boy who cannot see (Anon)
Year 6 Tara Quinn - Rodge Said by Michael Rosen
Year 7 Trenton Waring - Boogy Woogy Buggy by Michael Rosen
Year group winners were then invited to recite their poems again with Trenton Waring taking the lead as the over all winner.
A very tough competition indeed and congratulations to everyone who took part.
