KS1 September Maths Fun
Can you believe it is almost the end of September?
The children in KS1(yrs 3&4) have been working hard to develop their maths skills. Here are just some of the things they have been learning about:
Y3 have been developing number bonds within 10 including the addition and subtraction within fact families, maths language including greater than, less than, altogether, how many more etc. They also have learnt about some more maths symbols including < >. Y3 have also been working on reading, writing and ordering numbers to 50.
Y4 have been learning all about numbers to 1000. They have been counting forwards and backwards in 1’s, 5’s and 10’s, as well as adding and subtracting multiples of 10 and 100 from 3 digit numbers and rounding to the nearest 10 and 100.
WOW!!!! What a busy bunch!
