Today we hosted our annual Blair Cup Poetry Recital event in school as part of our festival of words. All KS2 classes were involved in a learning a poem this week with some children choosing to audition and take part in the recital. A massive congratulations to all pupils who took part, we are very proud of all you efforts. We heard poems about cats, mice, Rodge and his teacher and a boogy woogy buggy! We didn't envy Mrs Weir's job of having to pick a winner! There was a winner from each Year group and an overall winner! WELL DONE YEAR 6 It was a great morning and the children listened and supported all the entrants exceptionally well!
