Money Week.
This is money week.
We talked about how to budget money and we looked at the difference between saving and wasting money. We also thought about the different items we want to save for. Children came up with lots of ideas.
Matthew- I keep my money in my wallet.
Daley- My mum gives me £15 a week pocket money. I'm saving for new X-Box headphones.
Reece- I like to spend my money on games on Fortnite or presents for my mum.
Rachael- I spend my money on Squishies.
Leah- We looked at how you can save money and not waste it. I think I wasted my money at the school fair because I spent about £20 on things I didn't really need, I got carried away!
Bea- We learnt about the SMART budgeting rules- It was Specific, Measureable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely.
Cameron- I store my money in a special bag.
Jack- I'm saving for V-BUCKS for Fortnite.
Ella- I'm saving my pocket money for bike accessories like a basket.
Logan- I'm keeping my pocket money until I can get new football gloves.
Anna- I'm saving my cash for a new rabbit cage.
Nathan- I'm trying to save up for a phone.
We played money Snap games, watched a cartoon about saving money and worked hard on money maths problems.
There was lots to think about.
