Mr & Mrs Lacey and Juno come to visit Year 3
8th Oct 2019
As part of our sight topic we have been learning about how our eyes work. We have found out that some people wear glasses to help them see and some people can't see at all. People that can not see are 'blind'. Mr Lacey can only see some shapes and wears two pairs of dark glasses and a baseball cap because the light hurts his eyes. He came in to talk to us today and brought a very special guest called Juno. Juno is a trained guide dog and is very clever. The most important fact we found out today is to NEVER DISTRACT A WORKING GUIDE DOG! Please talk to your children about what else they learnt today.
