Mr Lacey and his Guide dog Juno visit Y3
24th Oct 2017
Mr Lacey came in to see Y3 with his guide dog called Juno. Y3 have been learning about 'Sight' as part of our "look Out!' topic. Mr Lacey was able to share with the children what it is like to be blind. He told them about how he knows when to cross the road, how he reads, how he works out the time, when to stop pouring a drink and how Juno became his guide dog. Look at our photos and ask your child to tell you about all the information their learnt from the visit. Thanks again to Mr and Mrs Lacey for taking time out of their day to talk to our boys and girls!
