Mr Lacey and Juno visit Year 3
12th Oct 2016
As part of our Sight topic we have begun to learn about how guide dogs help people that are blind. Mr Lacey very kindly came in to talk to us about how clever guide dogs are and how Juno helps him at home and when he is out and about. We learnt how Mr Lacey finds his clothes, reads a book, uses a phone, crosses the road and.... how important it is to NEVER distract a working guide dog! We were so happy to see our boys and girls listen attentively to Mr Lacey and ask really interesting questions.
