Well Done to a Year 7 pupil who has been award a MERIT in her Grade 1 violin exam. She has performed for us in assembly and worked very hard for her grading that took place last month. She played Ecossaise, Greek Wedding and our class favourite, The Muppet Show Theme. She also had to complete scales and an aural test. A special thanks to Miss Carson who accompanied her for her pieces. Although she was nervous she is looking forward to starting work for her grade 2. Her advice to anyone playing a musical instrument is practice is key to success and to those thinking about taking up a new instrument, do it and stick at it!
