Year 7 enjoyed taking part in a variety of New Year, New You activities. These included a 'Healthy Bodies' workshop, delivered by Beverly from Sustrans and an energetic fitness session which ended with the Cha Cha slide. We also had great fun when we joined our buddy class, the Nursery, for outdoor play. It was lovely seeing the youngest and the oldest pupils of Whitehouse having fun together.
During our Maths and Literacy sessions we discussed the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and worked out the costs of making fruit smoothies. We finished our very busy week with a special treat, the children made their own fruit smoothies and enjoyed drinking them during break.
