New Year New You- A Nurse Visit in P2
Today the P2 children had a lovely surprise!
All week, we are thinking about keeping healthy. After our walk we had a visit from a nurse. This was Nurse Rankin and she told us all about her job. She told us what it is like being a nurse and she showed us all the tools she uses every day. We got to see things like a drip, an injection and a mask. She talked about how she stops germs spreading by wearing gloves and a face mask. The children were really pleased to see and touch these tools.
What a fantastic treat for P2. Thank you so much for coming to see the children today and giving us all lots to think about. Your job sounds great and maybe some of the boys and girls will decide to become nurses, when they get older.
