We had such a great day at the Planetarium in Armagh. We arrived, after our long bus journey and ate out break quickly before entering the Space Dome. We travelled through space looking at the Sun, the Moon and different constellation - have a look tonight to see if you can spot the Seven Sisters or the Big Dipper. We joined a family of aliens as they flew to each of the planets in our solar system, deciding which would be best for a summer holiday and finished our time in the dome with the Spacecoaster. Next, it was time to build our rockets, after building and fuelling our rockets we blasted them off into space - some went so far they nearly landed on the moon! Our trip to the shop was definitely a highlight for some and everyone has gone home with lots of space goodies. Hope you enjoy the photos!
