Our Visit to the Planetarium Y4MB
We had a fantastic visit to Armagh Planetarium. We made rockets as soon as we arrived, using water to fuel them. We blasted these off in the grounds of the Planetarium, although we got a little wet, it was exciting to see how far our rockets travelled. Under the model of the International Space Station, we learnt about how astronauts live and work in space. We found it particularly interesting to learn how they eat and use the toilet in space. Finally, we visited the theatre for a look at the earth, sun, moon and the other 8 planets and finished with a ride on the space coaster - our legs were like jelly walking out! We hope the boys and girls have lots of information and stories to share at home tonight!
