Today P2 children all went to Stranmillis College, Belfast. This was to attend a children's literature workshop. We travelled by coach and were met by Jayne and Diane. We walked through the college and found the library. Here the children were put into groups which were led by students who are training to become primary school teachers. They were all from foreign countries like USA, Poland and Spain. They had worked hard to create activities around a story EG: We're going on a Bear Hunt. Everyone had a lovely morning listening to the books and taking part in the activities. We enjoyed a special break before getting back on the coach to be back at school in time for lunch.
The P2 pupils were very well behaved and enthusiastic.
