Y7 had a very special visitor, Professor Claire Thompson, an ex-pupil of Whitehouse Primary. She told the children her story about how when she was at school she loved science and solving problems. This inspired her to study science at university and complete a PHD. She then worked for a number of pharmaceutical companies before setting up her own successful pharmaceutical company. The children had lots of questions for Claire and they were very inspired by her achievements.
