Remembrance Day
12th Nov 2019
Poem by Robert Laurence Binyon (1869-1943)
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them. Year 7 pupils were involved in making poppies for a display of remembrance at the front of the school. Despite the weather yesterday, they observed the 2 minutes silence and created their display. Many other classes throughout the school observed the silence and learnt about the meaning of Remembrance Day. Thank you for your support for our Poppy Appeal. All proceeds have been forwarded to the Royal British Legion.
