RRSA Gold Assessment
Yesterday, we were visited by 2 assessors from Unicef, Niki and Anne-Marie, who came to find out about all the work we have been doing for our Gold Level Rights Respecting School Award.
They spoke to pupils, staff, parents and governors from our school and the pupils from the RRS Steering Group, the Eco Team and the ICT Mentors led out first whole school assembly of the year.
Niki and Anne-Marie said they were really impressed by all the hard work that was going on within our school and the progress we had made since our silver assessment.
We want to say a special thank you to our Rights Respecting School Steering Group,
Y4McN - Jude and Y4McC/B - Rosie
Y5C - Brooke and Y5R/C - Riley
Y6C - Holly and Y6H - Jack
Y7R - Molly and Y7W - Mya
who have led our Rights Respecting School work over the past few years. The assessors spoke about how impressed they were by their passion and enthusiasm for children's rights and how articulately they spoke about the work they have been doing.
We will not find out if have gained the Gold Level Award for a few weeks, but no matter the outcome, we are very proud of our pupils and all they have achieved!
