Safer Internet Day 21
Today is Safer Internet Day and the theme this year is: An internet we trust: exploring reliability in the online world.
Not everything online is true. Sometimes people put information online that might be
unreliable, fake or wrong. False information can end up online by mistake, somebody might be trying
to be funny or it could be meant to trick people. Understanding reliability online and recognising what
you can and cannot trust is important for everyone to enjoy the internet safely and positively.
Well done to some Year 7 pupils who submitted online safety posters for the Newtownabbey Thrive competition.
Great to see some of our Y7 pupils reading relevant news articles and interacting on c2KNewsDesk by posting comments on Internet Safety - keep up the good work!
