Saint Patrick's Day
17th Mar 2016
Mrs McNevison and Year 4 had great fun celebrating Saint Patrick's Day as part of their Northern Ireland topic. We used I-pads and laptops to find out about Saint Patrick and presented our findings in a poster. We baked traditional Irish soda bread and ate it hot out of the pan - yum! We also tried other traditional Irish cuisine like Veda, potato bread, champ, Tayto crisps and fifteens. Fifteens were definitely the class favourite. Of course, we couldn't go home without having a traditional Irish sing a long to 'I'll Tell Me Ma' and 'Mickey Marley's Roundabout'
