Year 7 have been finding about Saint Patrick and have learnt that he was a Christian Saint who was a missionary who helped to bring Christianity to island of Ireland. The shamrocks 3 parts represent faith, hope and love or God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. St Patrick’s Day is celebrated by millions of people around the world and every year the Chicago River is turned green and many historical buildings and landmarks too! We enjoyed painting our abstract shamrocks in water colour.
