Titanic Trip
P5 had the history of the Titanic story brought to life this week when they enjoyed a trip to the world famous Titanic Museum in Belfast. They were taken on a voyage of discovery through the Titanic gallery and were able to see pictures, artefacts and models from the Titanic. Our guides, Rob and Jonny, were brilliant and got everyone involved and taught us so much!!!
We also got to complete a communication workshop on board the SS Nomadic which is one of the Titanic sister ships and was used to bring Titanic passengers from the port of Cherbourg in France to the Titanic! It was so exciting to walk the decks that so many Titanic passenger walked over 100 years ago.
We all had a brilliant day and were exhausted when we got back to school! But what a day!
