Mr Bailie met with the new school council to begin their new term. They are very enthusiastic about their new role. The key issues on the agenda were:
- Are the children happy?
- Do the pupils feel safe? (Including a review of the new school Behaviour and Anti-Bullying Policies.)
- Are the classes learning well? (A clear focus on reading and numeracy.)
- What can we do better? (Pupils discussed their involvement in the new Outdoor Learning Zone design.)
- How can we do better?
The council will meet once per month and will report back to the Board of Governors in June 2019 on their year's work.
