The Eco team have been working hard on reducing the amount of waste in school. We have been making graphs to see our progress from October to March. We have reduced the amount of general waste by 6 240 litre bins. We are now recycling more food, mixed plastics, tinfoil, cardboard and tinfoil. We have reduced single use plastic by only using reusable water bottles as part of the NI Water scheme. We are also straw free in Key Stage 1 and 2. We are now recycling our yogurt pots and cartons at lunch time. As a result we have reduced the number of general waste bins in classrooms and throughout the school.
