World Mental Health Day 2019
To celebrate World Mental Health Awareness Day 2019 lots of classes had discussions about their feelings and strategies to manage their emotions. All pupils were given extra play at break time to remind them about the importance of exercise and socialising positively with friends.
Children were reminded about TAKE 5 for wellbeing
Connect - Be Active - Take Notice - Keep Learning - Give
This term Year 7 pupils have also participated in a workshop as part of Time 4 Me’s ‘BOUNCE’ programme. This workshop was taken by Julie our school counsellor and is designed to help children learn about resilience and how to cope with the ups-and-downs of life.
