Year 3 were extremely excited when Mike from World of Owls came to visit us with some of his animals. He brought 2 of his owls with him and told us that there are 3 types of owls that live in Northern Ireland. We learnt interesting facts about owls, like their ears are beside their eyes, which will help us with our topic Taking Flight. He also showed us some of the other animals he has.
