Y3 have been working for 3 weeks on procedural writing/ instructions. We have read instructions and grown cress, made colourful birds and made bird pudding. We have also written lots of amazing instructions, for example, How to be a Superhero or How to sharpen a pencil.
We now know how important it is to have all of the following things for great instructions -
- A Title - How to .........
- A list of what you need
- Numbered instructions
- Instructions in the correct order
- Drawings
A great 3 weeks of work!!
