Y3 make bird pudding
29th Jan 2020
As part of our bird topic we decided to make bird pudding to help feed the birds during winter. We researched the types of food garden birds liked to eat and sorted it into groups. We definitely didn’t want to add worms to our pudding! We used seeds, dried fruit, crushed biscuits and lard to creat our pudding. We used this as an opportunity to write instructions. We had to think about a title, mini titles like ‘things you will need’. We also discovered that the best instructions used bossy words, were numbered and had illustrations.
