Y3 travelled to Castle Espie to find out about birds that like to live in wetland areas. We fed many different types of ducks and geese and watched how they liked to eat. Some liked to dive to the bottom of the water while some liked to graze. We went bird spotting in the bird hide and learnt how to use binoculars. We learnt about the word MIGRATION and used a giant map to find out about the journey of the Brent Gesse from Arctic Canada to Northern Ireland. Did you know they travel 1500 miles to get here?
