Y4 trip to Stormont
16th May 2024
We travelled to Stormont on a lovely sunny day. We spent time in the chamber, thinking about what MLA'S do, laws that are made to help us all and how new laws and decisions are made. We had the chance to debate whether children should have to wear school uniforms. The children made amazing points both for and against and then all voted. The result was to abolish school uniform!!
we then had a walk along the boardwalk in Stormont grounds, had our delicious picnics in our special enclosed space and played together in the park. We had an amazing day!!
