Over fifty parents and pupils came along on Wednesday 1st March, as part of our 'Festival of Words' week, to find out how well our Accelerated Reading Project is going. The Year 5 pupils have read nearly 8,000,000 words since September. One pupil has already become a 'Word Millionaire'.
The parents got to take part in an Accelerated Reading lesson andt to watch their children take an A.R.quiz. They were also taught how to use the A.R. Homelink software to monitor their children's reading progress.
The night was finished off with some great pizza!
