Year 7 have registered for the Plant2Plate campaign. It is a new school campaign that focuses on what can be done to produce and consume food in a sustainable way that is not harmful to our shared planet. We were sent a kit that included a pack of Sugar Ann peas. Year 4 helped us to plant these in pots and we have now transplanted the seedlings into the KS1 and KS2 raised planters.
Thomas' grandma and grandad also supplied us with tomato and lettuce plants and parsely. These have all been planted along with chives and strawberries.
We can't wait to taste the fruits of our labour.
