Last week during money week, Year 7 had an opportunity to learn about stocks and shares. Each team was given £1000 to invest in a range of companies and over the next few days they learnt if their shares had increased or decreased in value. This was a great task to get the children talking mathematically and calculating if they had made a profit or loss.
