Today two fire fighters came to talk to us about fire safety. We learned about all the different dangers that could be in our home including candles, chip pans, plugs, cigarettes and matches. We also found out how to keep ourselves safe by having an escape plan and by making sure we have a smoke alarm. They also reminded us to check the alarm every week and to change the battery once a year. They told us that they changed their battery on their birthday each year! what an interesting day! We learned so much.
