Year 5/6 Family STEM Night
13th Oct 2016
On Thursday evening, Year 5 and 6 pupils from our school and St James's were invited, along with a parent, to come along to our family STEM night. The evening was hosted by Sentinus, a Northern Ireland charity which exists to promote the teaching of STEM subjects.
Over 30 children and their parents came along. They were tasked with creating solar powered fans. Everyone really enjoyed this activity and it gave us a chance to spend some more time with the new friends we make during STEM clubs on a Wednesday.
Our next family STEM night will be on Thursday 17th November, in St James's Primary School. I hope that many of our Year 5 and 6 pupils will come along.
