Year 7 and EA Reach Prog
During October Year 7W had 4 sessions with Mark Mead from REACH. REACH is an EA Youth Service initiative, delivered by youth workers and is designed to support children and young people to develop positive mental health, to increase their readiness for learning and to increase their resilience skills. Our sessions focused on identity, resilience, aspirations and dreams. The sessions were fun and informative, and the children engaged fully in all of the activities. We also had a visit from Keaton Moore from Move Your Mind who spoke to the children about the importance of exercise and wellbeing. We are really looking forward to welcoming Mark and Keaton back to school in January. Y7R will participate in the REACH workshops and both classes will complete Keaton’s 4 week physical fitness programme based on self-care, self-belief, healthy eating and mindfulness. |
