Year 7 Cycling Proficiency
15th Jun 2021
Year 7 pupils participated in the Cycling Proficiency Scheme. The training and assessment took place in the school playground. The children practised cycling manoeuvres such as starting off, slowing down, stopping and parking, turning right and left, overtaking parked cars and carrying out emergency stops safely. Some Y2 children came and watched us during their break and we were able to remind them about the importance of road safety.
Everyone enjoyed being outside and now know how to ride a bicycle more safely.
