17th Oct 2019
Year 7 visited Sentry Hill and participated in lots of activities aimed at enhancing the children's knowledge and understanding of the importance of the natural environment. The weather was perfect for outdoor activities and everybody had a very enjoyable day.
The children:
- Developed their skills in tree identification
- Measured the girth of old trees and worked out their age.
- Carried out a mini beast hunt
- Planted seeds
- Collected leaves and flowers and created their own mini gardens.
The staff at Sentry Hill were very helpful and commented on the good behaviour of all children.
