Year 7 had a very busy week exploring and discovering new books and authors this week.
- We unwrapped the book, The boy, the fox, the mole and the horse by Charlie Mackesy. An inspirational book about friendship, hope, kindness and encourage. We discussed the themes and created some artwork in the same style.
- A particular favourite with the children is reading with Nursery our buddy class and we hope to do this again throughout the year.
- We explored the topic of inference using the website Once Upon a Picture, this generated a lot of creative ideas and discussion.
- We enjoyed trying to guess the book titles that had been created using props by the book detectives. A lot of thought and effort went into these, well done to all who took part.
- Year 7 swapped 83 books at our book swap event
