To celebrate World Book Day and Festival of Words Year 7 joined with the rest of the school to dress up as characters or words. Three pupils completed the House Competition, a book in a box and their efforts were outstanding! Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland and the Boy in the Striped Pyjamas were all represented. We also played word and listening games, made monster book marks and enjoyed listening to pupil talks. Pupils chose a wide variety of topics including, crystals, coeliac disease, how to make popcorn and WW2. We enjoyed sharing our talks with Year 4 and we are looking forward to our Buddy reading session with Nursery next week.
