Year 7 had the privilege of working with Tom who is passionate about promoting STEM and providing interactive workshops for schools. The children were set the task of using bits of wood, plastic, straws, skewers and CDs to make a vehicle to transport Barbie. They tested their vehicles by launching them from an air pump. Tom was very impressed because all of the vehicles managed to travel across the room without falling apart. Some of them even managed to follow a straight path.
