Yabavocc The Monster by Mitchell
This is the monster that lives under my bed
I hear his claws scratching when I lay down my head
I close my eyes tight and pretend he’s not there
But still, he crawls out and jumps up to scare
He opens his mouth and shows sharp yellow teeth
I lift up my blanket and hide underneath
Rotten egg smell is everywhere and all that I see
Are two beady eyes looking at me
He is six feet tall with a long purple tail
And when he moves closer he leaves a wet slimy trail
The sun starts to rise and its time for him to go
He slumps to the floor ...
He’ll be back tomorrow!
A Strange Monster by Beth
I was going out for a walk on the beach and I came across a cave and wanted to explore.
So I went inside the cave and found a monster! It was the shape of an egg, purple with white stripes with octopus tentacles and sharp teeth.
He looked quite cute so I scratched it's head and it cuddled me. It then ran out onto the beach and ate all the people so I ran and hided behind a icecream truck.
The monster when back to his cave to look for me but when he realised I wasn't there he was looking all over, I was petrified.
He eventually found me and stuck out one of his tentacles and grabbed my hand and led me to the park and sat me on the swing and pushed me on the swing.
I started having a great time playing with my new friend. Yes it might sound crazy but he's the my friend and no one will change that.
Making Monsters by Ava
Godleadle’s the monster I made up last week a monster so scary I'm now losing sleep...!
It lives for food waste it has orange peel for skin its voice is like an engine!
It has bananas for spikes and cucumbers for claws - its ribs are symmetrical like a perfect strawberry!
It has melons for feet and 3-meter arms when hoping it sounds like millions of bouncy balls dropping in an empty bin!
It has caves for lungs and a hand full of swiftness - its clothes are very scruffy and make me look clean!
It has carrots for teeth and oranges for eyes its head is the shape of a watermelon seed!
It has breath like a food bin, a frown like an upside-down monkey and a face that is as happy as a dog with a ball!
Godleodle's a monster brought out of my mind - when you look there for monsters beware of your finds!!!
Mrs Small by Sarah
Mrs Small is small and fluffy and cute.
She likes to eat some fruit.
She jumps around and has lots of fun,
When she drinks fizzy juice.
She listens to her favourite song footloose.
As she dances with the famous monster moose.
Then she eats her favourite food yummy chicken burgers.
After dancing we went home To calm and relax.
We put on our Pj’s and watched some telly.
Then read a short story called See Me
Which put Mrs Small straight off to sleep.
The Clappymappyhappy by Brooke
He is an adorable creature
As violent as Jack Reacher
He is superduper fluffy
But when he’s hungry, he’s huffy
He’s a Clappymappyhappy
From planet Tappywappy
He asks for snuggles
So the kids give him huggles
He grows ginormous and eats them up
Everybody screams, knocking over their cup
When all the kids are gone
He shrinks and acts like a swan
He terrorises town after town
Until all the children have been gobbled down
Then he moves on
Only stopping at dawn
Thank you for reading my poem.
