Year 7 started the week with a nature walk to Hazelbank. It was a glorious morning and everyone was delighted to be outside in the fresh air. Firstly we walked to Whitehouse Lagoon to watch the water birds and then stopped on Gideon's Green for our break. After everyone had rolled down the hill a few times we headed for the beach. We found crabs, mussels, whelk egg cases, shells and sea glass. Some people made pictures from the shells and seaweed. Our final walk was to the play park where everyone used up the last of their energy. We all had a great morning and were very thankful for the choc ices when we got back to school.
